deze topic doet mij denken aan al de verhalen over de Paf pickup van Gibson.
waar je toen te maken had met niet zo verfijnde productie lijnen zoals die er nu vaak wel zijn.
de verschillende data over welke magneten etc nu wel of niet gebruikt zijn.
wie weet er nu daadwerkelijk hoe een Paf klinkt?
want ook die Paf is deel van een lijn van mens tot speaker en alles wat daartussen zit.
zo zal het waarschijnlijk ook met het verhaal Klon zijn.
En stel nu dat je daadwerkelijk een echte Paf en echte Klon te pakken krijgt, dan blijft de waarschijnlijk grootste factor, de mens, het grootste niet uitwisbare probleem.
want ons gehoor is niet gelijk, je verliest door ouderdom en soms door overbelasting frequenties
tel daarbij op al die video's die op internet rondzweven met ieder weer andere instrumenten ook voor de opname en dan nog de apparatuur waarmee je het thuis afluistert.
wat blijft er dan over om een juiste inschatting te maken en te beweren dat dit of dat een echte Paf of klon sound is?
de zoektocht naar de sound die bij je past blijft leuk, maar ik denk dat we daarin de fysieke winkels wel missen waar je gewoon kon uitproberen met je eigen oren als referentie
