Net leuk bij Theo mogen spelen -waarvoor nog enorm bedankt, was erg gezellig samen met Henry en Willem- en op de rit naar huis nog eens stevig lopen nadenken. Ik vind het werkelijk een heeeeel mooi apparaat van een kwaliteit die ik nog niet eerder gehoord had. Ik had mijn eigen spulletjes mee dus kon goed vergelijken.

Maar ik twijfel nog steeds. Ik heb natuurlijk maar een paar uurtjes gespeeld maar de pedalino (foot controller) is ECHT wennen. Het druk-gevoelige mechanisme vergt gevoel voor hoeveel druk gelijk is aan nivo 1, 2 of 3. Als ik nu zou moeten kiezen is dat een no-go.

Daarnaast vind ik het ontbreken van editing software ook een groot gebrek. Ik had van Theo begrepen dat er voor de Mac wel een preset manager is, maar daar zit ik niet op te wachten. Ik bedoel een full-blown app waarmee elke -maar dan ook elke- setting van de PP kan bedienen EN waarmee ik presets kan managen ;-).

So Max, lets have that protocol that you use on the USB port and let me write that app for myself

the Pedalino operates a 3 pressure level only in browsing mode which I agree takes more time to get the intermediate pressure level. Since this mode is used in a relax condition it is not a problem in my view.
Do not forget that to get the levels right you need to set up the threshold according to your weight. I doubt you did this adjustment

In live situation (Fav. mode and Virtual board), the Pad that allow for changing sounds operate at 2 pressure level. In my opinion 2 pressure level is much faster switching that pressing a switch in a second raw of a regular floor controller.
If you like you can visit me with your own equipment and we can compare the the speed and fuctionality of PP sytem and in particular Pedalino.

Regarding the Sofwtare Editor, I agree it would be nice to have it.
On the other hand, the user interface of the PP is pretty simple. We experienced people learning the PP in no time. I can't immagine somebody with your skills having difficulty in edit the paramters.
So it is something that will come, but it is not my first priority.

In conclusion, for some one is confronted with the PP for the first time, I expect more comment on the sound, effects, controllabilty of parameters
