    ff browsen:
London City was founded in the late 1960's as part of the Dutch Sound Experience (DSE) when a local music shop in Amsterdam wanted a good alternative for the expensive Marshall amps of that time. The London City 100W heads were almost identical to the model 1959 Marshalls.
At first the amps were grey. Later in the 1970's the switch was made to the very characteristic green/cyan colored amps. Even later in the early 1980's the amps were made in black.
A competing music store also wanted to sell these London City amps. These amps were branded as Power City. They were identical to the London City amps though.
