you need and alnico powered humbucker to be able to achieve those tones. I would recommend using either a Rebel Yell:
https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/mai...kup=rebel_yell
or the slightly hotter Nailbomb:
https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/mai...ickup=nailbomb
The sound clips on the site were all recorded using a LP Custom through the AXE FX Ultra.
Kindest Regards,
Tim
Tim weer:Hey Tim,
both pickups have different kinds of clips, so I can't really compare them. Could you go a little bit more in depth regarding the differences?
From what I can see, the Rebel Yell has a little less low end and output and the Nail Bomb has some more output, and some more bass. In terms of character: how do they differ?
I'm looking for something with an emphasis on the low mids, as opposed to the high mids.
Cheers!

Michel.
The Nailbomb does have more output and reproduce more bass and mids with a more controlled high end. By comparison the Rebel Yell has more presence in the high end and tighter bass response whilst still mainlining good weight in the mids.
Kindest Regards,
Tim
