Bij true bypass heb ik het volgende wel eens gelezen:
''The mechanical switch takes time to flip from one side (bypass) to the other (active). Granted, it's a very, very short amount of time (measured in milliseconds), but as far as electricity is concerned, that's an eternity. Electricity moves at the speed of light. While the switch is between positions, a charge builds up in the input and comes out as soon as the mechanical connection is engaged. This is the "pop" that you hear.''
In ieder geval moet je ervoor zorgen dat deze lading naar de massa wegvloeid. Dit kan het beste met een 1meg of groter resitor van de effect in, naar de ground.
Geen van de pedalen die ik zelf maak, heeft last van ploppen.
