I could make the theshold user porgrammable, but so far everybody is happy with it.
I think is just a matter of getting used to the new concept :)
That (70%) would probably be good enough. I 'assumed' (the mother of all ...) I had to go all the way down. I think I can get used to it ;-).
The true is that in first version it was from 50% down. But Rogier and others did not like it because the prefer a small motion to achive the highest BPM.Citaat:

Before I release a version, I always spread my FW to beta users. So to get their feedback and remarks.
We try to get better.
I am very critical with PP. If there is something to improve I do it. This is why I pay attention to your posts guys....
Afterall I am also a guitar player :)

3-level operation in fav. gives me two banks with each 9 sounds.
When using 2-level operation in fav. mode, I have three banks with each 6 sounds. This is fine with me, provided that the system does not switch presets immediately when changing banks, which it does now.
But I still think I prefer 3-level mode, which gives me the most flexibility within the same bank, because to memorize my presets a little better, I use the second left pad for my clean sounds, second right pad for crunch sounds, and right pad for high gain sounds.
Example of my high-gain sounds:
Pedalino level 1: dry amp sound, all effects bypassed
Pedalino level 2: same amp channel as above, but solo boost on amp switched on, and PedalPro cleanboost + delay switched on
Pedalino level 3: same as pedalino level 2, but with the wah turned on.
So maybe the 2-level operation would be an option, in combination with the virtual board, because then I could combine Pedalino level 2 and 3 to one preset.
I have that same thought! I really disliked the phaser sounds I knew, from the Boss GT processors and stuff, but the PP phaser is in a different league.Citaat:

For high gain sounds, I prefer the wah of filter 2, because of the added depth!
I still should do an a-b test with my RMC3 wah, because that is the wah that I love :-)

The first filter F1 has the frequency range of a good Wah pedal with controllable resonace.
You can make nice auto Wah with it.
The second filter spans from 150-2500Hz. I really like this filter for negative envelopes.
But you can combine them independently from the mode.
You can have F1 un Env and F2 in Auto...... so any combination auto,fix, envelope +, envelope - can be set. The same for both resonances Q1 and Q2.
The secret of the phaser lies in the way I modulate the phase and in the optical resistors.
Heb zojuist voor de eerste keer de PedalPro direct ingeprikt in het cleane kanaal van mijn Soldano Decatone om de distortions te vergelijken met de andere kanalen van de Soldano (helaas gewoon op huiskamervolume).Citaat:

Ik vind de distortions (minus de metalgeluiden) op dit cleane kanaal beter dan over het cleane kanaal van mijn Mesa, erg bruikbaar!
En behoorlijk veel stiller dan het scheurkanaal van de Soldano. De Soldano is iets complexer / levendiger (geef het maar een beschrijving) vwb klank, maar daarvoor krijg je er ook gratis een bak ruis bij, die je met de PedalPro niet (of in ieder geval een stuk minder) hebt.
Dit soort grappen moet ik niet te veel doen, dadelijk zie ik mij nog genoodzaakt om de ideale preamp te gaan zoeken bij de PedalPro, plus dikke stereo eindtrap, extra speakerkast, en dan doe er ook maar een andere auto bij om het zaakje mee te slepen :)

+1 Die Rover is een mooie preamp die een breed scala aan blues/rock sounds weet neer te zetten. Aanrader! Kanaal 1 (helder clean), 2 (mooi bluesy) & 3 (rock) vond ik erg goed. 4 vond ik persoonlijk minder. Voor high-gain sounds zou ik ook zeker iets anders nemen.
Ik ken ze eigenlijk niet, die Rover preamps.
Voor high-gain bevalt mij de Roadster erg goed; rectifier sound, maar dan iets warmer met minder sizzzz.
Clean vind ik de Roadster ook erg goed, alleen de crunch geluiden kunnen beter in mijn ogen.
Voor mij heb ik er niks aan om een preamp te kopen die dan een betere crunch heeft, maar op high-gain inlevert.
Wat voor mij wel duidelijk is: Met de PedalPro icm de Fenders bij VR vond ik de distortions niet om over naar huis te schrijven.
Via het cleane kanaal van de Mesa vond ik ze goed, maar via het cleane kanaal van de Soldano klopt het eigenlijk pas echt goed zo " out of the box".
Misschien dat het een en ander nog beter af te stellen is op bv. het cleane kanaal van de Roadster, maar ik ben nog niet zo bedreven met de filter-instellingen en het gebruik van deze filters als toonregeling.
