Ik heb het gewoon zelf even geprobeerd en het werkt inderdaad prima. Ik had nog een Marshall 1974x + een Soul-O-45 combo liggen die ik i.p.v. de Ernst Flieck stereo eindtrap heb aangesloten op de Vintage Revolution Pedalpro. Ik moet zeggen dat ik de transparantie van de Ernst prefereer maar de test met 2 verschillende combo versterkers is zeker goed te noemen. Het karakter van de typische Marshall vs. de Sould-O-45 met 6L6 buizen (Fender alike) is duidelijk terug te horen en je kunt per preset het volume maar ook de delay (op Links of Rechts) instellen. Ik denk dat combo-bezitters hier heel gelukkig van kunnen worden want je gaat terug naar een simpele set met toch de stereo mogelijkheden.

I would really appreciate this function. It is currently already possible using L/R preset volume settings but it would make it much more easy to switch between different combo amps using a relay. But you should consider the isolation between 2 amps in order to make sure to avoid electro-magnetic hum problems.
Currently, i am using the Pedalpro solo with the Ernst Flieck stereo power amp and removed the GT Trio preamp because i found the overdrive of the PP to be of a better quality. Everybody who came to listen to my setup found it to be beautifully pure and authentic in terms of tone...It's like a vintage 'old-style' Marshall stack.
I combine the boost with distortion on the volume pedal which makes it really fun to play.
Ik raak steeds meer geïntrigeerd door de Pedalpro, en zo'n channel switch zou een welkome toevoeging zijn in mijn geval, want mijn huidige setup bestaat uit een stereo setup met 2 heads (een Mesa Boogie Stiletto en een naar 2 kanalen gemodde marshall 2204).
Ik weet niet of ik de preamp van de PP ooit ga waarderen, maar de boost en overige effecten zijn van een ongeëvenaarde klasse.
Max, je moet echt met een floorunit op de markt gaan komen, en snel een beetje! ;)
The amp switching consist of two independent relays and two mono jacks galvanically isolated with each other
In off condition, the tip and ground are disconnected. When the relay is engaged the tip and ground are shorted.
You will be able to program the switches at the preset level either using the Pedalino or the MIDI footcontroller.
@Henry we are not thinking at the moment on a ground integrated solution. That does not mean it is a bad idea :)
Ik lees nu dat ik een beetje dom ben geweest. Ik zat nog in de 'oude' discussie over het schakelen tussen 2 amps...
Uiteraard ondersteun ik een amp channel switch functie ook volledig. Dat is heel handig en maakt het mooi compleet.
Personally I would go for a more modular approach and have a separate switching box controlled by MIDI.
But I can understand why some people would want this feature. But I wonder if 2 switching jacks would be sufficient. Perhaps 4 (like TriAxis)? My 2:90 has three switching options. So when working with multiple amps you run out of switching jacks pretty quickly.
For a portable setup it could be nice to have relays, but like Obiwanjacobi said, would 2 be enough?
Currently I use a midi switcher, and switch 7 functions in my amp, so 7 relays would be ideal for me, but in a couple of months someone else comes and wants to switch 8 functions, so you're lost again.
For me the external switcher is not a real problem rackspace wise. And if it would be, it could also be integrated in the amp.
I can think of several other modifications I would like to have instead of the switching relays, but commercially, if a couple of relays can be added for people that have a 2 channel amp or something, costing less than a dedicated midi switcher....who knows!
