Many apologies--I didn't want to offend by assuming I could post in English...some would consider it rude of me. I see that the program does not work well...lol.
Here's what it should have said:
The SG originally had a vibrola tremelo unit on it. I still have it in the case. To keep it in tune better I removed it a la Pete Townsend.
The red Strat (which is my favorite) is a 1956 relic from Fender. I didn't care for the neck on it (very narrow) so I ordered a 1962 reissue neck from Fender. They used a beautiful piece of rosewood for the fingerboard, and it plays very well.
I sent the guitar to a luthier in California named Michael DeTemple--a great guitar builder (Google his name for his website). He took my Strat and did a total set up, including replacing the string saddles with titanium ones. He also replaced the tremelo block with a milled titanium one, which cuts about 1/4 pound and increases sustain. He also replaced the stock nut with one made of fossilized Mastadon ivory--very hard material. The guitar plays incredibly well, and is always popular when I play it out or take it to a dealer to try amps out with.
Again--sorry for the terrible Dutch. I'll post in English--thanks for accepting my posts!

Not a problem for most of us, it's always nice to see some nice gear.
But why posting on a Dutch forum ? Do you post this on a Swedish, German, Chinese , Japanese ect. forums too ?
No, but I have a few freinds over there, and flew with some Dutch Aircrew while was in the US Air Force (I did the air refueling on KC-10 tankers).
What can I say? I like the Dutch, even though your language is very hard for me to learn...lol. Also--who else eats mayo on their potatoes? I love it! Frite-sauce?? :satisfie:
I do post on an American site as well...the PlexiPalace forum. Here's some of my other stuff:
