Since the 70’s, Roland has been a synonym for the better blues work in Belgium. This could just as well be solo, sitting on a crate of beer with only an old folk guitar and a harmonica, or with friends, rocking the stars out of the sky.
But Roland is much more than just Blues. On his albums, he experiments with oriental sounds and samples, for example in his project “The Last Tribe”. On the almost completely instrumental album “Snowblind”, you will find songs that don’t require words. On “Litle Sweet Taste” , we find various music styles, sometimes indescribable. It is blues, but just not the kind we are used to hear…
