Vraagje over Mesa 20/20

Niet dat ik er één ga kopen of iets dergelijks, maar ik vraag het me gewoon af. Als je zo'n stereo-eindtrap hebt als een Mesa 20/20, moet je dan persé ook met 2 speakers spelen? Ik zat een beetje in die manual te bladeren, maar ik werd er niet echt wijzer van of je nou ten alle tijden een load op beide outputs moet hebben.

als je een kast gebruikt die stereo kan is het geen probleem. verder kun je 1 helft van de amp uit zetten, dan is ie dus mono, en kan je hem gewoon over 1 speaker halen....

Ik vroeg me eigenlijk hetzelfde af.
Hoe zet je dan dat ene kanaal uit?
De enige optie is: het volume dichtdraaien van het uit te schakelen kanaal toch?

STEREO POWER AMPS USED MONO:

Any Boogie power amp can be used in mono by connecting the input and speaker to one side only. The input and speaker of the side not in use cannot be connected or damage may follow. As with any tube amplifier, a load of some sort must be connected if there is signal at the input. Always make sure to connect the speaker to the appropriate side receiving the input signal, and make sure the speakers are connected to the matching impedance jack on the amp. As an extra precaution, the volume and presence of the side not in use should be turned all the way down as well. All current production Boogie power amps are not bridgeable, but can safely be used in mono under the above conditions. We suggest alternating sides that will be used in mono applications to provide even tube wear from side A to Side B.
