Uno for the road
Hoping to demonstrate the capabilities of their Amplitube amp modeling software to new users, IK Multimedia have produced Amplitube Uno, a stand-alone guitar amp simulator for Windows 2000 and XP and Mac OS X. Amplitube Uno features the Crunch amp model and a distortion stomp box taken from the full version and it's available now as a free download from http://www.amplitube.com/.
Ik heb 'm, puur uit nieuwsgierigheid, toch even geprobeerd ... en eerlijk gezegd valt hij me tegen. Clean klinkt hij nog wel aardig, maar met distortion ... dat klinkt haasst als mijn Marshall MG15CD ... relatief 'slecht' dus .. of 'onbruikbaar'.
Heeft iemand Amplitube of Amplitube Uno al eens geprobeerd, en zo ja .. wat zijn de meningen over dit stukje software, van een fabrikant die toch in staat is prachtige en zeer bruikbare software (en samples) te ontwikkelen (bijvoorbeeld ''T-Racks')?
