Hallo,
Als ik mijn brug wat lager wil krijgen moet ik dan het stukje been cq plastic aan de onderkant afveilen?
Wie help..svp en dank ab.

Most guitars have their saddle too high, so you may want to lower yours. In order to lower your saddle, remove it, and sand it off at the bottom. Place a piece of sanding paper on a table, and gently move the bottom of the bridge hence and forth, with some pressure. Try to make a smooth linear motion, so that the bottom of the bridge does not get a curvature. One way to prevent a curvature, is to press the saddle down on the sandpaper, and then pull the sandpaper away. If your saddle is much too high, you may prefer a file, and finish with sandpaper.


Proceed slowly, and put the saddle back in the guitar often to check your proceedings. Pluck the strings very hard. As soon as the strings start to rattle on the frets when you pluck them hard, you should stop.
