Just a little thing I wanted to share with you:
I have been working on Tommy Emmanuel's "Man With The Green Thumb" for a few months now. Although this is not at all a fast, high-tech song, it's very hard to get the real Tommy groove. It's NOT a simple song to play! So I play it every morning for some 15 minutes after I wake up.
This morning I was surprised how well it went! Boom...-chick-uh, boom-pe-chick-uh, boom-pe-chick..., boom-pe-chick-uh. Seemingly without effort, for the first time! I got very excited. I was standing near a bookshelf with hundreds of books on it and just then, by pure change, my eye fell on a side cover of one of them. The title was Italian: "ritrova il TE spirituale" (refind your spiritual self). The word TE was printed fat and big and in a contrasting color.
I could not help smiling and sort of thought: "I guess Tommy Emmanuel is somehow giving me a little push right now!" So I stepped one step aside, and immediately my eye fell on another side cover of a book. The title was written in small characters, the author's name in big, fat characters: ATKINS.
