Voor de HCFX-kenners onder ons...

Ons aller vriend "Jpagey" bleek al eerder een antipatie jegens internationale Ebay klanten te hebben, en nu heb ik 'onbewust' zijn negativiteit mee mogen maken.

Here's the deal:
Ik zag op Ebay een Ibanez BC-9 (u allen bekend na vanmiddag ;-) Bi-Chorus, met een Buy It Now van $75. Errug mooi prijsje dacht ik zo (59 euro), maar allemaal gezwets in z'n beschrijving over "WILL NOT HONOUR OVERSEAS BUYERS" blabla bla.

Ik dacht, ik mail m toch in al mijn nederigheid en beleefdheid.

Dit was mijn mailtje aan hem:
Hi, may I ask why you would not honour any overseas bidder?
You see, I'm very interested in your pedal (trying to get a little Ibanez
9-series collection together), but I'm from the Netherlands. I'd like to
point out that I can pay via PayPal (bank account transfer) and I wouldn't
even mind to cough up the BIN, if you'd only add $10 for shipping (which is
$12 to the Netherlands, using USPS Global Priority Variable Weight). I've
bought 12 guitar pedals so far from the US (and 2 from Canada and 1 from the
UK), I have no negative feedbacks, but 33 positives so far. (ebay name:
speeddemon80)

Would you please reconsider allowing me to bid on your BC-9 Chorus?
Kind regards, Remco S.

Zijn antwoord (wat mijns inziens een STUK minder beleefd was...):

no.

1. all my neg. feedback is from overseas buyers.
2. there are more forms to fill out
3.there are more mail carriers involved and more opportunities for the item
to be lost.
4. shipping takes longer. so I have to answer more emails from you that say
"where is my item"
5. because of the language barrier, you will not understand everything I
say, so I have to spend more time with you
6. there is no upside to me increasing my time and frustration, especially
when the item will sell easily in the USA
7. I sent an item to Israel last month and the buyer refused it because he
had to ay duty on it, so I wasted $36 shipping it to him.
8. I sent an item to Italy in November, it is still lost, and I have to
answer emails from the buyer 2-3 times per week, because I do not want
negative feedback...he gave me the wrong address, but hey, I have nothing
better to do with my time than communicate with someone who does NOT speak
English.

so you see, there is no good reason for me to sell to you, only bad reasons.
since I am not desperate for money. I say NO. good luck!

Wait,
paypal me $200 from a veriifed account,
send me a box made out to you with prepaid postage,
leave me positive feedback before I ship,
promise not to email me EVER

and I will do it.
Adam

SURE BUDDY!

FUCKER!
Als mijn Engels slecht is, en hij MOEITE moet doen om mij dingen uit te leggen, mag Bush jr. wat mij betreft nog 3 ambtstermijnen uitdienen! (en Alhambra, je weet hoe ik over Bush denk... )
