Korg PB-02 pitchblack+ custom tuning

Hoi,

Ik heb een Korg PB-02 pitchblack+ tuner. Ik heb deze gekocht ipv een simpelere omdat ik ook weleens alternatieve tunings gebruik, drop C# bijv. De korg pitchblack heeft een paar geheugenbanken waarin je custom tunings kan opslaan zodat ik niet uit mijn hoofd hoef te leren welke noten er bij die C# horen. Echter zie ik de meerwaarde van de + hiervan niet in of ik doe iets fout. Ik volg netjes de gebruiksaanwijzing om de noten te programmeren. Als ik dan wil tunen dan zie ik gewoon een noot verschijnen en maakt niet uit in welk octaaf of noot ik zit, het enige dat ie aangeeft is of ik die noot (of halfnoot) zuiver getuned heb. Terwijl als ik in gitaar modus zit hij netjes aangeeft welke snaar ik speel (1e2b3g4d5a6e) en als ik een noot te hoog of laag of octaaf te hoog of te laag speel dan geeft ie dat ook netjes aan.
Ik had verwacht dat juist hiervoor de custom settings zijn.
Wat doe ik fout?

Ik heb even de handleiding door zitten lezen, maar het is zo dat je een mode moet kiezen waarin je stemt. Dan moet hij het per snaar pakken in welk octaaf je hem hebt ingesteld. Je kan kiezen welke modus je neemt, zie

Setting the Tuning Mode
Here’s how to specify the tuning mode as
appropriate for your instrument or the
particular tuning you’re using. In addition to
the regular tuning mode for a guitar or bass,
the pitchblack+ supports various tunings
including five open tunings for guitar, as well
as original tunings you’ve created.
You can set the tuning mode independently
for the INPUT A and INPUT B input jacks.
When you use the INPUT SELECT switch
to change inputs, the setting will also
change automatically.
The tuning mode settings are stored in
internal memory. Even if you remove the
battery or disconnect the AC adapter, the
pitchblack+ will start up with the settings
stored in internal memory the next time
you turn the power on.
1 Press the MODE button.
The display will indicate the current tuning
mode.When shipped from the factory, the tuning
mode is set to CH: chromatic.
2 Use the UP or DOWN button to select the
desired tuning mode.
CH: Chromatic. The note names are shown at
semitone (half step) intervals.
GT: Standard tuning for a guitar
(7B, 6E, 5A, 4D, 3G, 2B, 1E).
BS: Standard tuning for a bass
(LB, 4E, 3A, 2D, 1G, HC).
OD: Open D tuning for a guitar
(6D, 5A, 4D, 3F#, 2A, 1D).
OE: Open E tuning for a guitar
(6E, 5B, 4E, 3G#, 2B, 1E).
OG: Open G tuning for a guitar
(6D, 5G, 4D, 3G, 2B, 1D).
OA: Open A tuning for a guitar
(6E, 5A, 4E, 3A, 2C#, 1E).
DA: DADGAD tuning for a guitar
(6D, 5A, 4D, 3G, 2A, 1D).
P1–P5: Tuning programs you’ve created. You
can create up to five tuning programs. (☞p.16

tunings or stretched tuning.

for every one of the eighty-eight notes A0–C8
(All Note), or by specifying the pitch for each
note in an octave that will be applied across the
entire pitch range (Octave Link).
The tuning you create can be saved as one of
five tuning programs.

uning programs you create are saved in

In Tuning mode, select P1–P5 (PROGRAM
1–PROGRAM 5), and press the STORE
button to store the setting.

Press the NOTE/CENT button.
Y
ou will enter Tuning Program Edit mode.
The display will indicate the note name, the
octave, and the cent value; the note name and
octave will blink.

showing the Octave Link edit screen (

octave”). If so, hold down the NOTE/CENT
button for approximately one second to
select the All Note edit screen.

Use the UP or DOWN button to select the
note name and octave whose cent value you
will specify.

Press the NOTE/CENT button to make the
cents value blink, and use the UP or DOWN
buttons to specify the cents value relative to
equal temperament.
Y
ou can edit the cents value in a range of -50–
+50 cents.

o continue editing, press the NOTE/CENT
button and repeat steps 3 and 4.

When you’ve finished editing, press the
STORE button.
The display will indicate a program number.

select the program number (P1–P5) in which
you want to store the tuning program you
created.

1. Ik zie niet hoe ik naar de volgende noot kan (ik neem aan minimaal 4 voor bass maar in mijn geval dus 6)
2. als ik het heb opgeslagen is het zoals in mijn openingspost. Geen custom wat dan ook te zien.

De stappen in de manual kan en heb ik gewoon doorlopen. Ik zal eens proberen of ze bij hun support iets weten en reageren.


edit: ik zit dus in P1 de tuning aan te passen.

Je hebt volgens mij een programmeer, en een gebruiks modus. Nadat je hebt geprogrammeerd moet je via de mode naar tunings, en dan P1 zoeken. Dan moet het goed gaan....... :)

Dat doe ik uiteraard. Heb hem zelfs zo ingesteld dat als ik input A kies (rechter voetpedaal/knop) dan staat hij op standaard tuning (GT) en input B op P1. Bij aanzetten dus al.

Zoals ik in mn openingspost schreef geeft hij op GT modus netjes weer zelfs als ik een octaaf ernaast zit en hij herkent zelfs de snaar die ik speel, maar in P1 modus geeft ie alleen aan of ik een willekeurige noot zuiver speel. Dus drop C# zou op snaar 1 een D#4 moeten zijn, maar als ik die op zuiver D staat, gaan de leds gewoon op groen.

Hoe krijg ik dus P1 zo geprogrammeerd zodat, kort door de bocht, ik er iets aan heb? Net als in GT modus maar dan voor een alternatieve tuning.

Nee, ik heb de simpele pb1 tuner, maar heb de handleiding van de jouwe gedownload. Ik heb dus geen hands-on materiaal om te staven........

Heb antwoord van Thomann waar ik hem gekocht heb, ze gaan het uitzoeken want begrijpen het zelf uit de manual ook niet.
