Zou het een idee zijn een topic te openen met een verklaring van alle afkortingen op Gitaarnet? Toen ik hier voor het eerst rond ging neuzen duizelde het me al snel door alle, voor mij totaal onbekende, afkortingen die mensen gebruiken in hun posts.

Ik noem maar wat:
CIJ = Crafted in Japan
RI = Reissue
PAF = Patent applied for

Handig voor de beginners, lijkt me. Dat zal dan wel een topic moeten zijn dat openstaat voor edits door derden, zodat iedereen zijn bijdrage kan leveren.
Misschien ook een wat algemener verklarende woordenlijst met een verklaring van alle termen die binnenkomers hier niet direct zullen begrijpen.

ik vind het wel een goed idee, al ben ik te lui om er zelf aan te beginnen. Natuurlijk is het kennen van allerlei obscure afkortingen ook een statussymbooltje voor de habitu้s :)

Gelukkig toch nog 's een positieve bijdrage aan de discussie.

Er moet me wel van het hart, de mentaliteit op dit forum is af en toe echt belabberd te noemen! Elkaar vliegen afvangen over kleine woordjes en omissies, elkaar in de haren vliegen over weinig wanneer maar mogelijk. Dat soort dingen.

Misschien wat besef erin dat er ook mensen zijn die gewoon serieus discussies willen houden over gitaargerelateerde onderwerpen en niet enkel uit verveling zoveel mogelijk rake opmerkingen te posten?
Niet iedereen hier weet overal evenveel vanaf, dat lijkt me duidelijk. Dat accepteren is blijkbaar erg moeilijk, dus duiken er direct een stel GN-ers op om diegene even duidelijk te maken hoe dom hij of zij wel niet is, of in ieder geval dat tussen neus en lippen door even door te laten schemeren.

Nou de vraag: voelen we ons beter na zo'n opmerking? Of is het puur uit frustratie dat je van moeder de vrouw die zoveelste goldtop niet mag aanschaffen?

Toen ik net op dit forum rondkeek was ik inderdaad onder de indruk door de enorme kennis die bij leden van het forum aanwezig is, maar tegelijk wordt er met een sfeertje gecommuniceerd dat het forum uitstraalt dat gitaristen enorme blaaskaken zijn, die een ander niets gunnen.

Is dat dan de boodschap voor de wereld van het gitaristengilde?

Vreemd genoeg kom je die mentaliteit op andere gitaarfora totaal niet tegen.
Ik weet dan ook niet hoe lang ik het hier nog volhoud.

ja, het gebeurt wel es, pedante opmerkingen met een stoer incrowd geurtje. Valt tegenwoordig nog mee in vergelijking met eerdere tijden maar is evengoed kinderachtig. En niet iedereen heeft zelfde gevoel voor humor, is even taalvaardig, is even assertief enz... Als de schreeuwers je storen: gewoon negeren. Je weet snel genoeg vanwie je een zinnig, respectvol antwoord kan verwachten en wie gewoon dringend es aan zijn trekken moet komen

Aangezien dit het enige topic is waarin Doctor Chill echt actief in was deel ik het hier maar in mee.
Addy beter bekend als Doctor Chill een bekende in de Leeuwardense uitgaans en muziek scene is ons helaas ontvallen.
