This is undoubtedly the CLEANEST 12+ year old guitar I have ever seen. I mean...it's hardly been played at all! There are some very light pick markings on the pick guard, but that's about it. There are no dings or buckle marks on the beautiful limed mahogany (TV Yellow) finish, and the gold still shines like mirrors! As for playability, the authentic '61 style (chunkier than an LP Classic) Slim Taper neck (with ebony fingerboard) is super STRAIGHT and plays FANTASTICALLY!!! The frets have MINIMAL wear (if any). As this commemorative SG Custom was made in very limited numbers (300 !!), it is quite collectible. But as it sounds and plays so amazingly well, I recommend you PLAY it and not stash it away somewhere. It goes without saying that this guitar is 100% original. Included is the original hard-shell case (with plastic strip still in the lock) and Gibson Gold Warrantee (with "ONLY A GIBSON IS GOOD ENOUGH" bumper sticker).
