Pedaltrain SC2

Vraagje voor de bezitters en redenaars onder ons. Ik heb gisteren de SC2 (softcase) binnen gekregen. Fantastisch ding verder, maar... waarom is die softcase zo ontzettend groot? Ik denk de case toch gauw 15cm aan de bovenkant overhoudt. :???:

Ik heb zelf de hardcase. Die is ook gigantisch! De extra ruimte is volgens mij om kabels en eventueel andere zooi te bergen.

Wat raar eigenlijk. Waarom hebben ze die ruimte dan niet deelbaar gemaakt met een schot en klittenband? Het ziet er naar mijn idee een beetje slordig bemeten uit. Bovendien is het pedalboard van uiterst hanteerbaar formaat, maar in de tas is het ineens een immens gevaarte.

Ik heb de jr en die past perfect in zijn softcase. Heb je wel de goede case bij het formaat van je pedaltrain?

als je op hun site kijkt hoor je dat ze dat expres gedaan hebben, voor idd overige dingen qua kables of mensen dier er apartewah of volume pedaal naast willen hebben(niet vast op board)

heb er zelf ook 1 top zingen

6. My Pedaltrain case has too much space around the board, why?
In the flight cases of the Pedaltrain/JR and Pedaltrain/2 we added extra space to
allow you to carry other things inside along with a fully loaded pedaltrain. Many
folks who use large volume and wah pedals actually prefer to use them flat on
the floor next to their pedaltrain and just patch them into their signal path with a
small patch cable. So we have enough space to lay them inside the case too. You
will also have room for all your cables, cords, tool bag, boxes of strings, dirty
socks, etc.....

The amount of extra width space is by design and serves a purpose. One of the
main problems with pedalboards that are built into a case, or one with a tightly
fitting board, is that when the case takes a hit or is dropped during transport,
whatever is mounted to that case or board (your pedals) is what receives the
force of that shock. This is the primary reason that pedals come disconnected
from boards during transport. The pedaltrain case affords the pedalboard frame
the ability to move inside the case to act as a shock absorber. This may sound
crazy but it actually works.

We have intentionally provide extra room inside all of our bags as there are many pedaltrain users who mount additional power devices as well as other pedal effects that may go beyond the edges of the frame. Once your board is loaded with the pedal it usually does not seem to be as large as before you mount your pedals.
