in de boss harmonist zit een extra ingang. die heet detector in. weet iemand precies waarvoor deze bruikbaar is en hoe?

Also, if you play with amp distorsion, the unit has to be plugged in the effects loop. And you have to split your guitar's signal if any other effects unit is connected before the HR-2, in order to send a clean sound to the HR-2 (via the Detector jack). Otherwise it won't detect notes as well and sound like sh*t. {p}Sometimes (even with the detector jack) the notes aren't well detected and the harmonized sound "skips" (like a major third suddenly changes to a minor 3rd).

met een soort van Y plug ofzo??

een ab-swich...en hoe zou dat dat in de praktijk gaan werken???

Als je de HR2 in je fxloop zet en je gebruikt amp-dist kan ie de pitch niet goed bepalen, je stuurt dan bijv. via een y-plug een cleansignaal naar de detector om de pitch te bepalen, maar het overstuurde geluid wordt veranderd.
